‘To know him and to make him known’
Senior SU meets on a Friday afternoon in the Reid Hall and welcomes anyone in Years 11-14. We have over 100 attending each week and this year our theme has been ‘Grand Design’ as we have been looking at how we can build our lives on God and play our part in HIS great plan. Each week is a combination of worship, Bible reading, prayer, along with dramas, discussions, games and of course food – of varying quality it has to be said. As well as our weekly meetings we have a weekly prayer meeting and the ‘big’ events like our SU Weekend, Dinner Dance, Coffee Bars, Carol Singing, Planning Weekend, Year 14 ‘Last Night’ and (new for this year) our SU Service.
We have much to be thankful for and our prayer is that as young people come and enjoy time in fellowship together – they grow in knowledge and love of Jesus and learn to walk in HIS ways. Our continuing prayer is that when they leave school they are equipped to ‘…finish the race…’ (2 Timothy 4:7)
