Year 8 – 12
Pupils’ normally join the school at the age of 11 having sat the examination for entry, which is currently administered by the Association of Quality Education (AQE).
Prospective boarding pupils take our own assessment tests in basic English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning. Additionally a reference is required from the applicant’s current school. For those whose first language is not English, we expect, as a minimum, an Intermediate standard (IELTS Grade 4 or equivalent) of written and spoken English in order for pupils to be able to meet the requirements of academic courses.
Sixth Form
For entry into the two year A Level Course, the minimum entry requirement is 10 points at GCSE level with grades at B or above in the subjects which are to be studied at A level.
