Entrance Procedure

Year 8 – 12

Pupils’ normally join the school at the age of 11 having sat the examination for entry, which is currently administered by the Schools Entrance and Assessment Group (SEAG).

Prospective boarding pupils should provide a reference and/or reports from their current school to illustrate academic ability and attitude to work. They will also be required to undertake an interview with senior staff to assess their suitability for a boarding education. In some cases applicants will be invited to take a school assessment in English and/or mathematics.
