Senior Prefects 2025 – 2026

The Royal School is delighted to welcome its Senior Prefects for the 2026–2027 academic year, following a traditional badge presentation ceremony held last week. The Head Girl, Head Boy, and their deputies were formally presented with their silver badges in the presence of proud parents and members of staff, marking the beginning of a year of leadership, responsibility and service.

Continuing a much-valued school tradition, the badges were presented by His Grace, the Archbishop of Armagh, the Most Reverend John McDowell. The silver badges represent the trust placed in our senior student leaders and the commitment, dedication and high standards expected of those who serve the school in these important roles.

Our Senior Prefects will play a key role in school life throughout the year, providing leadership to their fellow pupils, supporting younger students and helping to strengthen the sense of community across the Royal School. We look forward to seeing them embrace the opportunities and responsibilities that come with their positions.

We are delighted to introduce our 2026–2027 Senior Prefects:

Head Girl: Isabella Speers

Head Boy: Alfie Abbott

Deputy Head Boys: Peter Finch, Jacob Willis

Deputy Head Girls: Brooke McCarragher, Emily McConnell

We congratulate Isabella, Alfie, Peter, Jacob, Brooke and Emily on their appointments and wish them every success as they lead and represent the Royal School throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. We are confident that they will make a positive contribution to school life and serve as excellent role models for pupils across the school.
