There was great expectation at school this morning when the new Sixth Form Common Room was opened for use. Over the summer major refurbishment took place in what was previously an underutilised locker space to develop a high quality, well lit and modern facility as a Sixth Form social space. The long time spent in the marquees is finally over!

Sixth Form is a unique time in a young person’s school life and we believe it is important that they have a high quality place to mix with friends. We are delighted at the work which was carried out on a tight timescale by Greystone Joinery to a design by the Boyd Partnership. We appreciate the patience Sixth Form pupils have shown in recent days as the finishing touches were made to the Common Room and we hope they really enjoy the new facilities.
