Royal School Armagh Awarded British Council International School Award
The Royal School, Armagh is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the Intermediate Level of the British Council’s prestigious International School Award.
This recognition celebrates the school’s commitment to bringing the world into the classroom and developing an international dimension across the curriculum. The award, which includes the Developing Internationalism certification, acknowledges our work in providing pupils with opportunities to engage with different cultures, perspectives and global issues.
A key part of this work has been our collaborative projects with partner schools in Denmark and the Republic of Ireland, helping pupils to build connections beyond their own communities and develop a greater understanding of the wider world.
This achievement reflects our commitment to providing an enriching education that equips young people with the cultural awareness, knowledge and skills to become informed, confident and globally aware citizens of the future.
We are immensely proud of this achievement and look forward to continuing to build international connections and opportunities for our pupils.
